How this works
- You send a call back request with your name, number, ZIP code and what happened.
- We call you back and talk through the leak: where it came from, which rooms got wet, and whether you have called your insurer.
- If you agree, a local restoration company that works in Dallas calls you about the job.
- You decide whether to go ahead. Get the price and terms in writing before any work starts.
Asking for a call back costs nothing. The privacy notice explains what happens to the details you send.
Who we help
Homeowners anywhere in the City of Dallas with a leak, a burst pipe, a slab leak or mold where water sat too long.
What the guides on this site cover
Most people deal with serious water damage once or twice in their lives, usually at the worst possible moment. So we wrote down what a Dallas homeowner needs to know in the first hours and days: how to tell a slab leak from a crawl space leak, what February 2021 did to pipes, the Texas mold licensing rules and the deadlines your insurer has to meet. Each page lists its sources so you can check the facts yourself.
Before anyone starts work
These checks take about ten minutes and apply to any company that works on your house:
- Ask whether they log moisture readings at every visit and will give you a copy.
- Ask if they bill your insurer directly or bill you, and get a written estimate either way.
- For a mold job of 25 square feet or more, ask for the TDLR license number and look it up.
- Be wary of anyone who offers to cover your deductible. TDI says that is illegal in Texas.
Have a question about your house? Send us a request and we'll call you back.
